Post-Construction Cleaning Checklist for Suffolk County Contractors
A phase-by-phase post-construction cleaning checklist for commercial projects in Suffolk County.
Phase 1: Rough clean
Remove debris, scrap and packaging. Vacuum bulk dust from floors, ledges and window sills. Clear the way for finish trades.
Phase 2: Final clean
Wipe all surfaces, cabinets and fixtures. Remove stickers, tape and paint specks. Clean windows, frames and tracks. Clean restrooms and fixtures. Clean floors according to the finish.
Phase 3: Touch-up clean
After punch-list work, do a final dust and floor pass right before the walkthrough or certificate of occupancy inspection.
